Good things last if you take care of them! If you're not sure how to maintain your boots, don't fret! We've put together some tips and tricks so you get the most out of your boots!

Care for Leather Boots

* Remove dirt and grime from the leather with a damp cloth or soft brush. Leave the boots to dry at room temperature. Avoid drying in direct sunlight or near any heaters, as this will dry out the leather.

* Apply leather polish or cream to help maintain your boots.

* If using a polish, apply a small amount of leather cleaner to a polishing cloth or brush and rub onto the shoe in a circular motion.

* Wipe away any residue and again leave to dry.

* Repeat regularly or as needed to ensure the leather remains soft and nourished.

Care of Suede & Nubuck

* Using a suede or nubuck brush, gently brush the leather in order to remove any dirt, grime or stains.

* Using a gum eraser, remove any stubborn scuff marks by rubbing the affected area.

* Apply suede or nubuck cleaner to any area of the boot that has deep stains that you wish to remove and allow to dry.

* Once clean, apply suede and nubuck protector to the boots and allow them to dry thoroughly.

* Tip! Waterproof boots regularly to protect the leather from staining.

Care of PVC Gumboots

* After wear, gently brush off dirt and other contaminants using a soft brush or cloth. Rinse clean with water, adding a mild detergent if necessary. Wipe dry.

* Do not soak your gumboots in solvent or heavy detergents.

* Do not dry or store your gumboots in direct sunlight or near a heat source as this may cause the rubber to become sticky and break down.

* Wipe down the insides of your gumboots and wash the footbeds using a mild detergent as required.
